Get Rid Of Plantar Warts- Easiest Wart Removal

Months back I was doing some research for my cousin on some of the easiest ways for wart removal.  I found a lot of helpful information, but a lot of the methods were putting people in physical harm.  If you want to get rid of warts quickly and painlessly like thousands of other people then I hope this post helps you out.

Get Rid of Plantar WartsWarts and plantar warts can be embarrassing if they are located on a highly visible area of your body.  That was the case with my cousin a few months back.  Her wedding was approaching  quickly and she HAD to get rid of the plantar warts that were just under her chin.  She was so busy with everything for the wedding, going to the doctor was out of the option.  There would have never be enough time.  One of her biggest concerns was scaring, since it is common with many wart removal methods.  A lot of the methods also took a lot of work and seemed sort of bizarre.  I think the method we chose worked amazingly well.  Her warts were gone in a matter of days!  And there was no scaring what so ever.  Her wedding pictures came out amazing, and she was extremely happy with the results.  It’s been a few months since the wedding and there are no signs of those warts coming back.  Her chin is now smooth, clear, and healthy!  I have told others about the method we used to remove warts because it will work on any skin type.  The best part of this story is my cousin is having a baby, and she now knows how to get rid of plantar warts and warts for when the baby grow up and touches a toad.  (wink, wink)

Get Rid of Plantar Warts- Different Treatments

Recently I have gathered a list of different get rid of plantar wart methods.  There are so many wart treatments out there but hardly anybody wanted to cover such a unique topic. I hope this information is helpful to you, as I am learning a lot.

The Use of Duct Tape To Get Rid of Plantar Warts

Duct Tape

The theory behind this method is to starve the plantar wart or warts from oxygen, therefor killing the wart.  It’s usually a six day process of covering the wart with a piece of duct tape.  If it falls off, you just replace it.  At the end of each night, you are supposed to soak the wart or warts in water and leave it exposed to the open air overnight. This process is repeated until the wart is gone.

Using a Banana Peel to Get Rid of Plantar Warts

There are a lot of people who say that this method of wart removal works wonders. Warts or plantar warts are covered with a piece of banana peel and secured tightly with tape. The peel is supposed to be changed every day until the wart or warts are gone.  The best part is that the banana doesn’t have a bad smell.

Using Oils to Get Rid of Plantar Warts

Apple cider vinegar

An equal combination of three oils, and is applied to wart or plantar warts.  Tea tree oil, lemon oil, and apple cider vinegar are applied to the wart multiple times a day.  It is important to keep the warts covered because it needs to stay wet.  I have heard this working with a few people.

Other Traditional Treatments Include:

Freezing- Using a method of applying a medicine that “freezes” the wart or warts.  The wart is supposed to fall off within 10 to 14 days of the initial spray of medicine.

Salicylic Acid-

AcidThis is an over the counter treatment for warts.  It’s also a common wart removal method.  I’ve also heard this to be a painful method of wart removal.  This is the repeated process of soaking the wart, then applying the medicine, and covering.

Surgery-

In some cases plantar warts and other warts are too difficult to remove and do require a small surgical procedure.  This is indeed painful and often the persons last option to have the wart removed.

Plantar Warts- All About

Today I want to give you a crash coarse on Plantar warts.  I think it will be very helpful for you and I hope you never get them.  Unfortunately not everybody knows these things so I’m happy to help.

The Facts:

Be Aware of your Environment when Barefoot

You should always take caution when walking barefoot in public.  This may include your local gym, any locker room for that matter, and even at your favorite public pool.  Remember, most Plantar warts usually stem from a combination of both heat, being wet, and unclean environments.  But you also want to be safe by keeping your feet from getting too dry.  So use lotion guys!  And bring along your flip flops.

Plantar Warts Can Spread

Because plantar warts cause many cracks and openings in your skin, it is easy for HPV (human papilloma virus) to get into the openings and cause an irritating and highly spreadable cluster growth to the top most layer of the skin.  It is at that time you may have a huge outbreak of plantar warts because they will multiply quickly. Luckily, plantar warts are benign (non cancerous) tumors and are not a major health concern.

Plantar Warts Are Not Attractive

It’s funny, if my cousin and others were more aware of how plantar warts occur they would wear sandals at the beach and probably prevent their outbreaks. Nobody wants to look or even be exposed to your plantar warts.  They can also be a turn off to the opposite sex.  My cousin didn’t want to be seen like that so she simply stayed in her house.

Plantar Warts Hurt!

Don’t let anybody tell you differently.  In mild cases people claim that having plantar warts on your feet feels similar to jogging around with a small rock in your shoe.  Others have reported plantar warts can cause an irritating burning sensation.  Treatment can become a desperate plea of someone who has an outbreak of plantar warts.

Whew! That all being said, in a few days I will discuss a few ways I learned to get rid of plantar warts once you do have them.

Get Rid of Plantar Warts-Toads Myth

Today I thought I would share a story with all of you.  And of course, it deals warts!

When I was a young boy, probably in third or fourth grade, our class went on a field trip for the day to the metro park.  I remember being so happy just because we didn’t have to spend the day in the boring, sterile classroom.  We learned about mushrooms, bees, and did something with leaves, I can’t exactly remember.  I had a crush on this girl named Nicole at this time in my childhood.  Well, she spotted these bright, red mushrooms growing by the tree and as she bent down to look closer, a toad hopped right onto her arm!  She immediately screamed and ran away crying like a baby.  We all laughed until the teacher told us to stop.  Well here’s the funniest part.  The next school year Nicole comes to school on the first day and her her face is covered in warts!  I didn’t know you could get face warts back then and I was grossed out (I was a kid remember).  Everybody was staring at her and she told us that they were called plantar warts and she got them from the toad on last years field trip.  We were in in disbelief.  We never heard such a thing.  So all growing up I was terrified to touch any toad I saw.  I look back and laugh because it’s an old myth.  You simply cannot get plantars warts from toads!

Anyways, most of Nicole’s warts went away on their own, however a doctor had to painfully remove warts that were bothering her eye.  I wonder if Nicole has had to remove any warts since then.  Either way, I’m sure she hasn’t touched a toad since.  Haha!
